Update Day 2

Day 2-

Sorry the updates have been slow. Getting Internet access has been difficult here. Sometimes I forget things aren't like back home everywhere else.

We have met tons of great Jamaican people here. The maids, poolboys, gardeners and others now know us by name. I have made friends with George who kindly restocks our mini bar each morning. Our poolboy, Richard, is also super nice. He hung out with us for probably an hour today just talking. I like to ask him about what it is like here, and then I tell him how it is different here. We've shared many laughs. He laughed about Shaq and his shoe size. They love NBA and NFL.

The resort and grounds are really beautiful. Many flowering plants and trees here. I've taken lots of pictures that I will eventually share- My mother the 'green thumb' would be in heaven here. Most of today was just spent relaxing at the pool and exploring the resort.
