My Life on the D-List!

So as some of you know, my career has afforded me the luxury of rubbing elbows with politicians, movie stars & Olympians. While it has not been with the Clintons, Brad Pitt or Michael Phelps - I'm not going to complain! Here's a look back at where I've been and who I've met. Can't wait to see who's next!

Back in my Williams' days, government affairs was more the job than the PR I have now grown accustom to. With that came summits and dinners that attracted some fancy people. I'm sure all of you can recognize the late Mr. Jack Kemp in this picture. He was quite the charmer - he even offered me a job if I ever made my way to D.C. - I think he was really just hitting on me, but again not complaining. The women in this picture is - I HAVE NO IDEA! She was so nice. I kind of remember her being a track star or something like that and the name Millie keeps coming to mind, so if you recognize her, please tell me so that I can do her some justice. P.S. - go ahead and make fun of my hair - I did! A line from my all-time favorite movie says it best. "She was right, it does look like a brown football helmet."

This picture was taken again in D.C. at an Education America Summit. That standing next to me is the lovely Bo Derek (name tag proves it!) When I got this picture developed (digital cameras were not that popular in '02) I remember thinking how much I must have annoyed her because she does not look all too pleased, but when I looked at it again recently it all made sense! It must have been the Botox - she just couldn't move her face is all. Gosh I hope Bo doesn't read our blog!

This was taken last week at the home of US' 1968 Gold Medal Olympian, Peggy Fleming. Can I just say Peggy rox! She recently became the spokesperson for a client of H&K's and we have really gotten to know her well. The great thing when you travel with Peggy is that you get to ride around in limos and stay in really fancy hotels! She's just so down-to-earth, she'll let us take silly pictures of her and tells us all of her beauty secrets (Nutrogena night cream)! She's just a blast! While none of us our looking forward to the upcoming Pittsburgh trip, we've decided Mojitos will be our drink of choice to get us through it. See you in the Pit, Peg!
